Blue Ridge Parkway is running from state of Tennessee to State of West Carolina. All together it is about 460 miles of incredible beauty. There are vista points every 2-3 miles to see blue views of far away mountains on the both sides of the road. End of September - beginning of October is the most colorful time there, especially in the places where red color of Mountain Ash trees completely covers hillsides. Very few people are there on the road, no commercial vehicles are allowed there either. Campgrounds are empty and it's easy to get to any of them. We had wonderful time there.
